Having not found a specific answer to the question, I came to the conclusion that it is difficult for today's teenagers to find the answer to this question, and everyone should come to their own definition of the word "good". The best adviser, probably, should be the life experience of my peers.

In our time, most people have become selfish, for whom only they themselves are important, and they do not care how much pain and resentment they brought to other people along the way to their goal. Many people have forgotten that in each of them there is a particle of goodness in varying degrees, and this is the most important quality that they have. After all, everyone can show sympathy, respect, courtesy and, of course, love.

People, like zombies in search of novelty, profit and other benefits, do not notice anything around them. A person who cares about other people's problems seems strange to everyone. Watching all this, I wondered: “Is it really so difficult to be kind”?

For each person the word "good" means different things. But I think that all those actions that bring people a feeling of joy, happiness, bliss, delight and fun and do not bring pain, suffering, damage and are called good.

Every Thursday, a car arrives at the bus station at 13.30. People come out of it and begin to lay a makeshift table on abandoned cement blocks. The food is quite simple: buckwheat, stew soup, a slice of bread and a glass of tea. Long before the indicated time, people who have been thrown overboard of this life, the homeless, begin to gather at the place. They line up in order to have time to get a portion. Each time the queue becomes longer, our city is small, word of mouth works well. All this action takes only an hour and a half. After the last portion, the people organizing all this carefully remove the dishes, leftovers, garbage and leave.

For the last six months I have been watching this picture, returning home from school. And I am convinced that goodness lives in modern people. There are also those who sincerely and disinterestedly help those in need, who try to do something for the benefit of other people, who are not indifferent to what is happening in the world around them. The writer Korolenko was right when he told us about the life of a "bad society", he believed that the future generation would not lose the good in their hearts.

My little life experience allows me to find the answer to the question of kindness - one must try to be gentle and sensitive to other people's troubles, not to pass by people asking for help.
