Generally speaking, the main goal of the lead engineer is to ensure the effective operation of the entire organization.

A large list of responsibilities is balanced by significant rights, which are listed in the third section.

According to the instructions, VI has the rights:

  • get acquainted with all the necessary documentation;
  • submit work and personal proposals for consideration by senior management;
  • inform the authorities about the identified production deficiencies, make proposals for their elimination;
  • request all the documents necessary for the qualitative fulfillment of labor obligations.

The lead engineer can involve other employees in the performance of the assigned functions and demand assistance from the authorities in their own work.

Responsibility

For non-compliance with the terms of the job description, the lead engineer is responsible for the following:

  • labor for improper performance or non-performance of assigned duties;
  • administrative, criminal and civil law for offenses, crimes and delicts committed in the course of employment;
  • labor and civil law for material damage caused;

The lead engineer is in official relations with the heads of structural divisions.
